Outlet and Light Switch Shelf

I designed this little shelf with one thing in mind, universal. It's designed not to work with the outlet/switch cover attachment. Instead, it uses the screws that hold the outlet/switch itself to the wall. The result is a shelf that uses little material, but is shockingly strong. It works great as a shelf for Google Home, Alexa, and charging phones. It also allows you to still use a standard outlet or switch cover over top of the backing plate.

Right now, the shelf is only for one-gang electrical boxes, but more versions may be added later.
