Overhead Sump Trickle Filter

If you are a fish hobbyist like me, getting a clean sump after heavy feeding is a nightmare. That's why I designed this trickle filter. This is the first layer of filtration for your overhead sump. It filters roughly most of the bigger waste after heavy feeding. This also eliminates the issue of the overhead sump overflowing because of the lack of water flow with the conventional filter in the chamber style. As you can see, I only have 1 layer of filter inside the sump compared to the traditional way of packing too much filter in the sump. This is my first ever attemp into designing my own 3D printed part for my fish hobby. This one is specifically for 75 gallon overhead sump. You can scale or size it down to your own overhead sump.
