Oversized Die with Stand

I took the SVG files from thing 110342 (by TexasLaser) and modified them to work as a printable box rather than one cut from wood

I reduced the slot openings by about half so that one wouldn't have to print each side so thick in order to get a good fit. The tolerances are a bit tight and some sanding/filing was necessary to get the tabs to fit smoothly into the slots but the fit was solid once assembled..

I printed in Hatchbox Wood filament. To finish the dice cube I sanded smooth with 180 and 220 grit sandpaper. I painted the interior of each piece black and hand-rubbed the exterior with a dark stain. Finally I rubbed the entire cube down with dark brown antiquing wax.

Included is a file for the stand that allows the die to be displayed standing on one corner.
