This owl statue geocache is remixed from the owl facing front stl by BrOncO who remixed it from the Owl statue by cushwa.
It is the same owl statue but with an added compartment that can be closed by threading in the head. The thread is quite large when printed at a scale of 100% but this is done so the file can also be printed at a lower scale, for example 50%. The thread was designed in Solidworks after which it was added to the owl statue using Meshmixer.
There is one file for the head but three different body files. One is just a simple body, one has a hole added for a branch and one fil has the hole for the branch with added slots for tie wraps.
The body can be printed without using support and I recommend the head to be printed with the thread facing upward. This way the head closes nicely onto the body, here the thread doesn't need support but the head it self does.
