P-Box

Flashback to the 70's. Radio Shack sold kits that came in a P-box, or perf-box. The box was in two parts, and was used as packaging for the kit, but then the perforated red portion became the through-hole assembly area for leaded parts, and the clear cover became the base were you could look through to the wiring inside-that was not really all that interesting. The hole spacing was way too large for even anything pre-modern like an dip-IC, and usually failed to match any of the leaded parts back then either.

Feeling nostalgic, and waiting for the printer to finish with it's current job, thought I'd share this thing with those who remember. I haven't printed a copy yet, I'll leave that to another senior moment.

If you should print this, it must be in red to be authentic. Yes, I can still smell the aroma of hot solder and melting plastic--Mmmmmm!
