I noticed the garden padlocks that are out of the rain are working a lot better than those that have no shelter. ... So I made them one!
Clips onto a standard 40mm Wide Hasp.
Only just made them and put them on during Storm Brendan. (chucking it down).
PS Is this a bit silly? It will take many months for me to gauge wether they have any effect.
Hasp Location is handed Left or Right, so just use the mirror option in Cura (or similar) to make the opposite version. The pieces photographed were mirrored.
Note -Mark 2 version uploaded that pivots in a 4mm dia hole drilled into the steel latch.
I have included a marking up template used to position the 4mm Hole.
