I made this portable carousel to hold my 3d model finishing supplies, especially for when I want to paint outside. The base screws into itself and can be stacked to any size. The top comes with or without a handle, for portability.
The bottom spins on bearings. There's a version for printer (625) bearings because I had extras lying around, but I also made a version that fits your usual 608 bearings snugly.
The wheel guide base is optional, it helps to protect the wheels from the elements and keeps it from sliding.
To assemble -
1. Slot bearings onto wheel brackets.
2. Wheel brackets fit snugly into the slots on the base - super glue them in place.
3. Screw one base/top onto the base with wheels. You'll need to mate the threads - slowly and smoothly screw back and forth until it feels totally unobstructed. Repeat with additional pieces.
4. Insert columns between each level. Super glue is not necessary here - the columns will stay in place with the added weight of paint
