This is an open source trackball design i designed and programmed from scratch. it uses three 8mm bosch BTUs, a 5v promicro controller, a Big Skree PMW3610 optical sensor, a 44mm sanwa trackball (wet buffed with 0000 steel wool), and four 6mm tac switches from Adafruit. the four buttons are mapped to left click, right click, middle click, and drag scroll. its tuned with simulated friction to account for the extremely smooth motion of the BTUs. its a real delight to use. since i finished it its been my main device for drafting and programming. its propgrammed through arduino ide, with a qmk version to come soon.full wiring and write up on my github, any questions reach out to me anywhere you can find me. https://github.com/ReverendRocknroll/Palantir-trackball.git
