palm tree island

This is an segmented/articulated palm tree on a tiny little cute island. The tree moves bends and gets longer if you wish. The picture is about 7 segments I think. The base and leaves are all made in blender. I suggest you use supports when printing the top piece, I think I messed up some face geometry when making the leaves, and Cura did not detect that it should add supports there. In the picture I printed the top bit of the island in white by doing a pause and color change once the sand finished printing. This brings out the colors nicely. I call this a color z-change.

Warning: I had the top "female" joint of the island break when trying to insert the tree. So I just superglued in the first segment in so the joint was functional.
