Description:
This is a custom housing that lets you attach a standard GameCube Game Boy Player to the Panasonic Q!
I originally tried printing this design by 0Cordo, but ran into issues with FDM printing as it's optimized for resin. So I decided to create my own version from scratch!
It fits and works pretty well overall. 😊
This was actually my first complex model made entirely from scratch, so it's a little rough in spots, but I’ve included the STEP file in case anyone wants to tweak or improve it.
Print:
I printed this on a Bambu P1 with a 0.4mm nozzle using Bambu PLA. I wouldn’t recommend using silk PLA—my screwposts snapped off when I tried it.
For the support interface, I used Bambu Support for PLA to get a nicer surface finish, but since those areas are hidden under the console, it’s not strictly necessary.
This is also way cheaper than hunting down an original Panasonic Q Game Boy Player. 😅
Hope it helps someone out there!
