Hey guys so this is a device I've been working on to provide relief for panic attacks. It's best carried on your person in such a way that you can access it easily.
First of all, some people have trouble with the cap. It's not threaded, but a twist an pull. The nubs holding it on are intentionally small and angled so that you can just tear the thing off if you really need to.
For usage, orient the device so the vents on the top and bottom are vertical. The vent closer to the base (further away from your mouth) should be on top. There is an arrow on the top side as well. From there, simply breathe through the device (inhale and exhale) until your attack subsides. If it feels like you aren't getting enough air, stop breathing through the device for a sec. The best grip is to hold the device like a whistle with your thumb and pointer finger in the side depressions and your palm behind the device.
Science behind it:
This works combing the aspects of a fan and a brown paper bag. W
