Paper Roll Hanger

A hanger to support a roll of packing paper (or anything similar) under a desk or table.

Designed for a roll of indented kraft paper 24 inches wide and 360 feet long, Uline stock number S-3652. It should work for any roll with a maximum diameter of about 10 inches and a 1 inch central hole.

At each end a hanger piece is screwed under the table using four #6 wood screws or similar. The shaft then slides in to support the roll in place.

The shaft has a hole down the middle that is intended to strengthen it. Its very presence will provide extra strength by adding internal walls in place of infill. To strengthen further you can insert an M6 cap head machine screw of up to 35mm length.

Print the hanger with the large, flat, inside surface on the bed for maximum strength. Similarly, print the shaft with the flat side on the bed. I printed with four perimeters and ten percent cubic infill and the result is plenty strong enough to support the intended roll. There is no flex and the
