Team: Mitch Palmer (team leader) / Dene Huntley The aim of our design was to create a product that was simple, elegant, offered unique features and sales benefits. This concept offers a very simple paper tear system. The rear enclosure can we used as a handle as well as a tear rail. The weighted base helps to maintain the centre of balance so it does not tip over. Additionally we focussed on creating a design that complimented the existing Umbra design (form) language. The benefit of this is in the sales pipeline, our design can drive addition sales as they look like they could belong as a set, either to the end buyer or retailer.
