Paraboloid

Customizable OpenSCAD design of a paraboloid with the focal point identified. To locate the focal point, a small sphere is printed at its position, along with a cylinder reaching it. This allows the paraboloid to be used for experiments with sound or light (by covering it with aluminum foil). Some possible experiments include: creating a directional antenna or microphone (by installing a microphone at the focal point), building a directional speaker (by placing a speaker or mobile phone at the focal point), creating a light beam projector, building a solar oven and more. This design can be very educational and entertaining for students.
