Paracord Tie Down Mount

These are mounts that can be applied to vertical surfaces. 550 paracord is used in combination with these mounts to suspend lightweight items.I needed a solution for temporarily storing our pool floaties somewhere out of the way so I came up with this design to be mounted on our fence .Some post processing on these include breaking away supports and clearing the holes for the paracord to pass through.I recommend that once you cut the paracord to size you melt the ends in a way that allows them to pass through narrow holes. Items stored here should still be placed somewhere secure during inclement weather. Assembly:Mount the top and bottom pieces to your desired distance by using screws. (On the top mount the curved portion should be pointed upward. On the bottom mount the angled end should be pointing up.)Cut paracord to your desired length.With a lighter melt the ends of the paracord and ensure those ends remain thin enough to pass through the holes on the bottom mount.
