Hi, Sorry for the horrible pictures. Please read this description instead: This is a project I created for my lab, researching static electricity. The actual model is two parallel plates on screws. The screws are coupled by a center gear, so when you turn the knob, both screws turn. This changes the distance between the plates while keeping them parallel. This is a set of parallel plates. On each plate I attached metal foil and provided 1 million Volts. This generates a very strong electric fiel
