Parameterized Star Knob for tool

Works in Customizer!

Updated to tweak nut capture size on 5 Feb 2015.

A modifiable, parameterized knob useful for making knobs with hex head attachments. I tried to fully parameterize the design to make modification easy.

By default, it will make a 5-pointed knob for a 1/4" bolt. If you want to change it, you can set:
- the number of points on the finger knob
- the diameter of the knob
- the height of the knob
- the diameter of the thru-bolt for the shaft (in mm)
- optional nut captures on top and bottom (in Open SCAD Only)
