Sick of drilling exact-fit brackets for every random thing you want to mount? This parametric gripper clip snaps closed around almost anything — I made mine for my Shark vacuum and a shoehorn, but because every dimension is adjustable in Bambu Studio, you can resize it for basically any object with a consistent cross-section: tools, bottles, brooms, cables, you name it. Just plug in your object's width and depth, adjust the jaw strength and grip height to taste, and it prints ready to spring-clip shut around your item. Mount with screws through the backplate, or leave Add_Screws off and stick it down with VHB tape/adhesive for a no-drill option. This is my most complicated parametric model upload so far. Please let me know if there is any issue with a particular set of parameters so I can address it. Parameters: Object_Width / Object_Depth — size of the item you're gripping Gripper_Height — how tall the jaw is (more height = more grip) Jaw_Backplate_Distance — affects jaw flex/strength; lower = tighter grip, higher = easier insertion Wall_Thickness — structural wall thickness Rib_Height — decorative/grip ribs, 1–2mm advised Screw_Body_Diameter / Screw_Head_Diameter / Screw_Spacing — mounting hole sizing Add_Screws — 1 for screw holes, 0 for a clean adhesive-mount back Print notes: PETG is a good shout here since the jaws rely on some flex to spring closed — PLA works too but will be a bit more brittle over repeated open/close cycles. 3–4 walls recommended for jaw strength, 0.20mm layer height. If using the screw holes, XY hole compensation of 0.125mm keeps M5-ish fixings snug.
