This is a work in progress. This parametric model allows you to create custom bearings for any steel ball size you have!Note: this is not a print-in-place part—you will need steel balls to assemble it after printing. So far, I’ve only been able to test with 4 mm balls. At that size, I wasn’t able to get the crown to print successfully. The bearing spins the smoothest when printed with small layer heights and randomized seam position.I also realized that the bearing generator outputs a single STL for all three bearing parts. To print them separately, I had to split the model into three objects in my slicer. This project is far from perfect, but I’ve decided to post it anyway in case it helps someone. I’ll continue updating the files as soon as I get access to a 3D printer. **Update**I have modified the code so the crown now prints properly!
