Using this blend file you can create a printable chainmail sheet of any size you require! :)Once printed carefully peel the layers apart from each other, taking more time at the edges. You can discard the side walls and the base.Every 10 links in x and y is about 3 inches (~8cm) Increasing z multiplies in the x direction. For example, a sheet 10y by 10x by 2z will give a sheet about 3 by 6 inches (8 by 16 cm).This was my first foray into blender geometry nodes so the node section is messy please forgive me. Also, note after exporting you have to reimport to recalculate normals for this model to work, dont worry I have it all explained in the steps below :). Steps to using this file.Open the file and click on the chainmail stack to highlight itSelect the number of chains you want in the x, y and z directions. you can decide if you want to print with walls or floors (Recommend L+R wall and floor) Warning: Removing L+R Wall will cause the layers to be unconnected!When you have settled on
