Parametric Lens Focus Ring

Introduction It's time to gear up and get focused! This parametric focus ring allows you to easily create and 3d print the exact size of ring you need for your videography follow focus needs. I created this in combination with my Wireless Follow Focus system (Soon to be released too). Featured Filaments Bambu Black TPU 95A HF CustomizingThe print profile provided is just a sample ring that'll fit a lens with a 73mm outside diameter. Clicking on Customize allows you to customize a number of parameters though to best fit your needs. Within you'll find a number of settings. Gear Module: .8, standard for focus rings, but you can change if needed.Gear PressureAngle: Again, standard for focus rings, but you can change if neededGear Thickness: The overall thickness of the gearLens OD: This is the Outside diameter of the lens you want to fit the ring on. Buffer: This is the space between the OD and the base of the teeth, roughly speaking. In theory, all you should really need to ad
