This is a tripod mount ring for large lenses. This helps you balance your camera and lens on a tripod or monopod. It's been tested on Canon lenses, 70-200mm (ring A) and 70-300mm (ring C).

It's customizable, with presets available for all Canon lenses and some Nikon lenses. Premade STL files are available for all known Canon and Nikon mount rings in the download section. Or, you can use Customizer to tweak things for your application.

I've included a knob designed to hold a 1/4" nut. It was generated using wstein's [Ultimate Nut Knob Generator](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:713300). Use that script if you want more control over the knob.

Manufactured metal and ABS mount rings go for as little as $15 on Amazon or Aliexpress if you'd rather have something sturdier. OEM models are quite a bit more expensive. My prints feel pretty sturdy, but the usual risks of 3D print failure apply. **USE THIS MODEL AT YOUR OWN RISK.**
