I created this FreeCAD project to add partitions to my box project [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3581884].
The partitions can be added to other boxes - pre-existing 3D printed boxes, cardboard boxes or even small drawers. They can also be integrated into a box design.
A spreadsheet ["PartitionParms"] is part of the project for which the FreeCAD file is provided. Specify the inside dimensions of the containing box and the number of cells in X- and Y- directions. The wall thickness is adjustable, too.
The X-dimensions of all cells are equal as are the Y-dimensions. They are calculated, nominal values. Specify only the outside dimensions of the lattice and the number of cells in each direction. The wall thickness will reduce the cell dimensions but, usually, not by a lot. It isn't accounted for in the cell size.
The lattice is limited to 6 cells in X- and Y- directions.
The partition lattice is notched along the outside perimeter at top and bottom. The top notch allows c
