I often have a need to remove the spacers from pin headers in order to allow two PCBs to fit back to back without spacers. Sometimes I also need to space something double the height of a regular spacer, so I pull the plastic spacers off pins and use them where required.
I did not make any attempt to use customizer, as I have had very poor results trying to use it. It's easy enough to use OpenSCAD and just change the 5 variables.
This is just for visualization in OpenSCAD or KiCAD. Well, you can print them of course, but the pins will not carry much current. ;-)
I have just made this into a library for ease of using it in another OpenSCAD file.
If you just want to make an STL, use the file pin_header.scad
If you want to make a pin header for use in another file, place pin_headers.scad (note the name difference) into your OpeSCAD library, include it in a file, and call it with a single command, as shown in test.scad
