Parametric Pot Plant LED Ring | OpenSCAD Project
Built a custom parametric LED plant lighting ring in OpenSCAD and 3D printed it on my Flashforge M5 Pro 🌱💡
The design fits inside the pot with a support lip, includes angled upward-facing LEDs for under-leaf lighting, and even has a side cable entry.
Because it’s fully parametric, the dimensions can easily be changed for different pot sizes.
This was a fun departure from my usual DesignSpark CAD workflow and a great example of why OpenSCAD is so powerful for functional engineering designs.
The final result gives the plant a really modern hydroponic / cyberpunk look while providing useful upward illumination onto the stems and leaves.
I have added the script for making halves when one has to assemble it onto a mature plant.
