This is a parametric t-nut. It is suitable for light-duty use. You can set parameters so that this accepts a metal nut, 4-sided, or 6-sided. Or you can make it to be nutless, in which case you will need to tap threads into the unit after it has been printed.
You could also add threads before printing using the OpenSCAD thread library: https://github.com/adrianschlatter/threadlib but I find these printed threads typically need to be cleaned by a tap before they are fully-usable.
In the two pictures I have an M6 nut and bolt in the unit. I will be using this to mount a Wii sensor bar under our television.
