I was attempting to remove a right angle prism from my guide telescope. An extender was needed to replace this so that I could still bring my guide camera to focus.
This was created because I needed it, but also so I could learn a little about OpenSCAD.
Therefore this thing is also parametric so you can tweak it to your own needs.
Tweak the variables in the OpenSCAD file to create your own extender.
Variables are:
Extension length
Wall thickness
Telescope focuser size
Eyepiece size
Warning: It might not be wise to hang anything heavy off this as I have not provided a thumb screw hole to hold anything in place. That said however, I found that the fit was tight enough that I could hang a DSLR off a 1.25" tube.
