I wanted to use a small flashlight as a spotlight to accentuate the awesome sound-dampening panel that friends created me for Christmas for when I'm recording videos at my desk, so I designed a parametric solution in OpenSCAD.After printing, I used a ¼"-20 threaded insert to mount atop one of my tripods. At most angles, my small focusable LED flashlight fits well and a rubber band holds it snugly upside down. The base of flashlight I'm using measures about 70mm long with a diameter of 27mm. The included STL file (Flashlight Tripod Mount -- 27mm x 70mm.stl) was generated using these values. If your flashlight isn't that size, install a copy of OpenSCAD and make changes to these two variables to match your flashlight:flashlight_height: The measurement (in mm) from the base of the bulb to the end of the flashlight.flashlight_diameter: The measurement (in mm) of the flashlight handle's diameter.
