Parametric Twist Vase - With Video Tutorial

A parametric vase, lamp shade or basket with a twist. Whatever it is, it looks great. Designed in 3ds Max, we started with a simple star spline and added extrude, twist, taper and other modifiers to sculpt the perfect shape. It took several iterations but this is the result.

Notes:
The model was created in 3ds Max 2011 but due to the inch/mm unit issues the model is scaled up by 2540%
