I don't especially enjoy the idea of soldering 225 LEDs together to make a display, so here is a simple solution that I used to avoid cutting and soldering these lights.
This is a minimal system with two parts that combine to make sturdy plastic cubicles for your DIY LED display.
These partitions are spaced for the 30 LEDs/Meter strips such as the WS281** sold as NeoPixels or similar. The ones that I used for this project were the waterproof type that have a sticky back. IP65?
I printed my partitions out 5 at a time without a raft and 30% infill. Depending on the opacity of your filament, you may want to adjust this accordingly.
The partitions came out a little warped so I made the corner connector piece to stabilize the structure for mounting. I think those who print with rafts or different printers might not need as many of these corner things; I used about 25.
