Patchpanel and mounting for Switch
This is to mount a switch (like the netgear 5 port) and a patchpanel for 5 places into a DIN rail enclosure (e.g. the hager volta 12) . The patchpanel has five breakouts for BTR E-DAT modules.
What you need:
5x E-DAT modul (BTR, Metz Connect) e.g. https://www.metz-connect.com/de/products/130910-i
Case with DIN top hat rail like Hager Volta 12 .
6 x Brass nut inserts (to assemble with a hot soldering iron into the prebuild holes)
small spring from a pen (cut in two halfs)
I printed all the parts in saphire blue PETG from DasFilament (https://www.dasfilament.de). Looks similar to the colour of the netgear switch.
The cable fixation has to be clued at the end of the patchpanel case. Print the small latch twice, add the pen spring in the hole and assemble it to the patchpanel case.
The pictures are more or less self-explanatory.
