This is a model I created of Patrick Star's rock from Spongebob.
Supports are optional but maybe wanted along the overhang for the hinge or inside the dome for a cleaner finish, but overall are not necessary for the rock. For the best resolution of the wind vane, supports or a raft is recommended.
