PAX Shelf Support Brackets

Over time, my IKEA PAX wardrobe started to deform under the weight of its contents. The side panels bowed outward, and the shelves began to sag. As a result, the original shelf pins popped out because the mounting holes had shifted away from the walls. To solve this, I designed a set of custom shelf support brackets that provide a larger contact surface and don’t rely on the original holes. There are three versions of the bracket:Standard bracket – for normal areas with enough space.Slim bracket – for tight spots near door hinges.Warp-fix bracket – a weird-looking one that fits directly into the gap created by the deformation, where a regular support couldn’t fit.All three types can be mixed and matched since they share the same support height — a key detail to keep the shelves level. They’re easy to print, sturdy, and a great way to give a second life to a PAX wardrobe that’s seen better days!
