During summer, the hot air coming from my PC case makes my room unbearably warm, and during winter, the cold air from my intake vent makes me feel like I’m freezing. To solve this, I designed a cap that works with three 120 mm fans and a 100 mm air duct to direct cold air into my PC intake during winter, and exhaust hot air out of my room during summer.This air-duct cap can guide cold air to your desktop PC or vent hot air outside your room.If you live in a high-rise condominium (like me) and have a large pressure difference between your room and the outside due to a high-performance ventilation fan, you should keep the end of the air duct open to allow automatic pressure balancing. Otherwise, your case fans may be forced to spin in reverse, potentially damaging the fans or even your motherboard due to back-generated electricity.
