PC steering

This is part of a personnal project to built my own PC Steering with pedals to play on my computer. The electronic parts is made from an Arduino Leonardo however the mechanical part is from my own brain !!

As my game is American Truck Simulator, I wanted to have a scaled truck steering, this is why the sterring is somehow bigger than other one. It has the same scale than Logitech or Thrusmaster but from a 18 inches Kenworth truck. This as been translated to 33 cm diameter.

The wheel encoder used is the Omron Rotary Encoder E6B2-CWZ1X so I designed a mount in order to link it to the steering axle shaft.

Currently, in this folder you'll find :

- parts to assemble the steering
- a personalized center cover
- some model of pedals. I used the smaller one for gaz pedal.
- Encoder mounting

More to come !!

Next step will be the motor/gears assembly as well as the enslosure and ... well, I'll see :)
