Pebbly Mouse Inspiration: Whether you are at work, home or school, the computer mouse has come to be a part of everyday life. It usually stays on the work desk serving its purpose of being our favourite hand-held pointing device while working on our PCs. Although so useful, the mouse has been relegated to a more functional tool in design, with focus mainly on how well it fits into our hands. There is a current rise in the art and craft of custom PC Cases bringing beauty and culture to a once bland look of computer electronics. I seek to extend this culture to other everyday products but for now let's bring life to the mouse! Design: The Pebbly Mouse is a remake of the everyday computer accessory which has come to be a part of our work life. The Mouse design aims to show the capability of quickly prototyping using the Stratasys Polyjet technology but in the form of a pebble. Design variations can be made to the color, texture and shape of product parts as this mouse indicates with it's vibrant contrast of bright colors to black and the use of flexible dark rubber to transparent glassy material. The materials used include the Stratasys Agilus 30, VeroPure White, VeroVivid, etc
