This is a mount that I designed for a Peet Bros Pro anemometer to mount it on the masthead of my sailboat. It uses 1/2" aluminum tube that I bought from Lowe's. I will be using an Arduino based NMEA 0183 converter that I bought from Tindie. You will need to shorten the "fingers" on the base of the anemometer where they insert into the mount. There is a drain hole in the bottom of the mount. The anemometer will have a tight friction fit into the mount but there is also a pair of holes so that you can drill through 2 of the fingers and put a bolt through the assembly to secure the anemometer if you feel it's necessary. The lower mount is incomplete and will, at minimum, need holes to screw through the bottom, but you can use it as a starting point. I will most likely design something better when the mast comes off of my Catalina 30. I printed the upper mount in black PETG, .2 resolution, 20% infill, no support. I don't know yet how well it will stand up to UV from the sun.
