Pella Screen DoorLatch

This handle easily breaks and is hard to find for the Pella Sliding Screen Door from 1950's-1995. This is the long version, about 4 inches long. I made a left and right version. Look at your door from the exterior and if the screen door slides left, that is a left handle. I printed it with 100% infill. Remove the metal Pella logo on the inside of the screen door, remove the screw behind the logo. Carefully pry off the inside latch with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the lock lever (note how it was positioned). Remove the inside latch and square metal tube. Remove the exterior screw and screen protector. Then the lever will pull out to the screen side. Installation is the reverse. Takes about 5 minutes.
