Pen brass core suspension

This is an experiment to create a pen blank in epoxy with a picture suspended within it. I purchased a Silicone ice tray (they have ones with a cubical cross section) that are about 6” long.

and then 3D printed a pen blank holder to suspend the pen brass within the mold. Once it is in place and clamped, fill the void with clear epoxy to permanently suspend the picture in the pen. Once the epoxy solidifies, take it to the lathe and cut the pen out of the blank.
