Pencil Holder Scheduler

In the days of at-home learning, but not unique to, assignments, tests and, other work can be easily forgotten. Calendars have been the answer to this problem forever, but now as we’re doing school from home why not create a fun and easy alternative. This design acts as both a catch-all for pens and desk supplies, as well as a schedule reminder, with moveable switches, to keep you on top of work.

I ran into minor errors in the design when trying to print it as one piece, it had to be edited to get angles correct and make sure everything matched up well on the design. I also encountered an issue when removing the scaffolding on the tiles and had to reprint some replacements.

If I were to redesign this project, I may add sectioned compartments for pens and pencils as well as figure out a stabler design for the switches that would be able to print without the need for supports.

Without the help of 3D printing, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go from thoughts to actions
