Penguin Pencil holder

A friend wanted to use this model to make some pencil/pen holders for some of his classmates. He was unable to get it to work with his CAD tools so he asked me to give it a go. This is what I came up with. The original model is small but very finely faceted.

To fit pens in it you need to scale the model up 2.3-3.0 times the size when you're about to slice it. I presume if you wanted it to hold smaller things you could leave at 100% or scale it less.

It is my understanding that he scaled it to 3X for the pictured example so you can use that as a reference.
