Available sizes Large – 1:35 of the actual size | Normal, Hollow & Pre-supported versions Description Pentaceratops sternbergii was a large ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 75 million years ago, in what is now New Mexico. Despite its name meaning “five-horned face,” it actually had three true facial horns, with additional horn-like projections along its enormous frill. This frill was long and triangular, possibly used for display, species recognition, or defense. Pentaceratops was a quadrupedal herbivore with a powerful beak and shearing teeth, well adapted for processing tough vegetation. It represents one of the largest and most impressive horned dinosaurs known from North America. Additional Details Chitubox file provided if you want to resize the model. Care should be taken when removing supports. Using a heat gun or a blow dryer is highly recommended.
