The Peregrine is the smallest brushed fixed wing UAV in existence that can be printed with a FDM 3D printer. It is also the fastest printable fixed wing UAV, with all parts capable of being produced by one printer in under 12 hours (making 3d printed UAV swarms possible). It is also designed not to be glued together, so all parts are hot swap-able. The Peregrine is designed as a carefully folded single thickness solid, than can be printed mostly as a single extrusion on each layer. As opposed to designing the skin of the aircraft and the supporting structure separately, this method prints more quickly, has less retraction points and layer defects, and at this scale is a much lighter design method. Most importantly the strength of the part is improved because adhesion between the skin and structure is not
