Print 100% infill (solid) in Flexible TPU or Ninja Flex TPE I used clear
I tripped over our purchased dog gate so many times that ... well I busted it! Really I did a number on it. Even the cheapest replacements are about $65-$70 for 2 of them.
I ran down to Lowes/Home depot and purchased 10ft PVC schedule 40 PVC pipe and cut it just barely shy of the actual width of the door way. Better to cut long and do a 2nd cut to get perfect length. Print 2 of these for each pipe to pound/jam into the end to mate with the wall. They are held in place by the friction of the printed ends against the wall. You will not be screwing or gluing to the wall. remember that the pipe is a bit flexible so you can "slightly" bow the piple a bit when placing agains the wall. Use as many as you need for the height of your kids. (if you have no dogs/cats).. Or if your kids are your dogs/cats! :P
