Peritonsillar Abscess Trainer

Inner portion of a trainer to teach pertonsillar abscess (PTA) drainage, with a target audience of medical students and residents. This can be inserted into any model of a human head for a low-cost task trainer. After painting the printed pieces to approximate the oral cavity, a balloon containing hair conditioner was inserted to approximate pus. We used a Halloween mask filled with expanding foam sealant, with a hole cut out for the printed pieces.
