Perkolating Coffee Cap

Update v5: added a quick hole all the way to the handle, to more match real lids like this. will keep the original files in-case anybody wants the version w/o the hole in the center, for whatever reason.

this was a quick (30min) design of a cap for a coffee perkolator.
the original was just a metal cap, and the instructions referenced a see-thru cap for timing how long to let the coffee perk, needless to say, that won't be as easy with an all-metal cap.

the cap is 4" round for the inner ring.

this is designed to print with transparent ABS, or another transparent high temp plastic.

and since this is for a food type item, make sure to thoroughly clean your item and make sure you know where your filament and extruder have been.

ultimately, it's up to you to make sure you know how to make your printer semi-food safe.

i highly recommend if you print in ABS, to do a good amount of vapor smoothing, to get rid of ridges that particles and un-wanted stuff can get stuck in-bet
