Perpetual marble machine

This is a perpetual marble machine that I designed. It features a crank and slider mechanism to turn the circular motion of the gears into the up and down motion of the tracks to be able to create that perpetual effect. Theoretically, the marble should be able to roll forever, as it goes in a loop with the two tracks going up and down to allow the ball to keep rolling. But, as the motor does lose power and the marble might roll off the track, the marble, in my experience has only been able to go about 30 times around, about 40 seconds or a minute of running time. Please feel free to try and beat my record and to create remixes to improve this machine. I hope you like it!
