Pet door for interior doors

This is small pet door for doors. It's intended for internal use only, the door has no locks and quite thin. Minimal door thickness for the installation is 30mm. To make it work, you need to print: Frame x2, it goes on both sides of the door. Cat door x1 Extender x1. The default height of the extender is 20mm. It allows you just to connect 2 parts of the frames, if the door thickness is 30mm. If your door is thicker, you can adjust height of the extender right from the slicing app, adding scale only for Z axis. The slot in the frame for the extender has 10mm depth, so if your door is 45mm thick, you need to print extender 35mm. Template x1. This one is needed, to mark down the door for sawing. Template has 2 holes (mark on the image with red arrows and number 1) and 2 pins (marked on the image with orange arrows and number 2). First, place the template with the holes on top and the pins turned towards you. Align the template, using level and fix it on the door. Take 4.5-4.6 mm drill and drill the holes in the door through the holes in template (1) . You need to make through hole. Then, turn the template upside down and insert pins in the freshly made holes in the door. Now, you can mark down the area to cut. You need to trace the template from the outside. If you need, you can move template to the other side of the door, insert it into the holes with pins and trace it also from the other side. Now you can cut the whole in the door. After the cut is ready, install frame from one side of the door. Please note, that there is two small wholes, in the inner part of the frames, for the hinges of the plastic door. You need to install frames, so both small holes be on the top. Then from other side of the door install extender and install second frame. At the last step, install the door into the frame.
