This is a collection of some simple PEX 1/2" tie-downs I've decided to share from rebuilding my water heater closet and upgrading the plumbing in my house.
The screw holes tightly fit regular drywall and concrete board type screws with countersunk heads. DO NOT crank the screws down too tightly because the countersunk head on the screw can flare and crack the plastic. Just a heads up. Careful installing them.
There are 2 versions of the dual tie-down... one with a centered screw hole, and one with the screw hole on the side. When I ran hot and cold pex together up the corner of one wall, I found that I needed the screw as close to the wall corner as possible so it lined up with the joist under the concrete board. So you have options...
No supports, no rafts, very simple design... strong and should work well printed at almost any infill. I used 40% and had no problem. You could probably go down to 20-25% and get an equivalent result.
Enjoy your plumbing...
