PGM-17 Thor IRBM

This was the US Air force's First ballistic missile and the basis of the Delta launch platform. It was also deployed by the british under the name of Project Emily.
It carried a 1 Megaton W-49 Nuclear warhead

I kinda designed this model with a 1:24 scale in mind but i modeled it in full scale. If printed in 1:24 scale the hole through the middle should be 1/4 inch which i have found to be a good way of assembling and displaying larger 3d printed rockets and other such things.

At come point I plan to come back and model a launch stand as well as some of the other payloads/ nosecone designs: the experimental low drag test fitting configuration, and some of the more interesting second stage things like the Agena.
